After an afternoon of hunting for snowy owls, I came across this beauty.
The Snowy Owl at first looked curious when the crows started harassing it.

Welcome back! I'm so happy to see you again! This is my first Snowy Owl sighting of this winter, earlier than in recent years.

Conditions were perfect to catch the eagle's reflection as it skimmed across the pond.

I think this is the same pair of mute swans I followed last year, They appear to be staking out the same territory although it is quite changed this Spring.
Today's blustery winter weather didn't deter this male Snowy Owl from catching a few winks atop a utility pole.
I spent several hours watching this beautiful snowy owl late yesterday afternoon. Hunting was good. She caught several voles in that time.
