I think this is the same pair of mute swans I followed last year, They appear to be staking out the same territory although it is quite changed this Spring.
Today's blustery winter weather didn't deter this male Snowy Owl from catching a few winks atop a utility pole.
I spent several hours watching this beautiful snowy owl late yesterday afternoon. Hunting was good. She caught several voles in that time.

I spent several hours yesterday afternoon with this beautiful female Snowy Owl. As I drove off I glanced back in the rear view mirror and saw the moon behind her. I had to pull over for one last shot!
