Nottawasaga Bay is starting to freeze. It hasn't frozen over completely in many years, but the process has started much earlier than last year.
I went down to the waterfront with the idea of making a landscape photo, hoping to capture the texture of the ice and the full tonal range of the blues. Finding swans and geese on the ice was a bonus! I would have liked to get closer to the water's edge and find a lower POV, but had to settle for perching on the harbor wall.
