The bay was beautiful yesterday in the morning light. Golden ripples seemed to reach to infinity.

The rain stopped; the clouds parted; and the Sun treated us briefly to the golden light we had craved all day.

After enduring another day of clouds, rain and thunderstorms we were treated to a lovely sunset.
A thunder storm rolls in over the the Collingwood harbour. This seems to be our weather pattern so far this summer.
Coming in for a Landing
Mute swan lands in Collingwood Harbour.
I think this is the same pair of mute swans I followed last year, They appear to be staking out the same territory although it is quite changed this Spring.

Rain this past weekend and warming temps are breaking up the ice along the shoreline.
Walking on Water
This was open water last week.
One of my favourite area beaches in summer, it's pretty icy at the moment.
This pair of Canada geese found some open water along the shoreline at Craigleith.
In Search of Open Water
As I lay on the dock taking photos of the ice in Collingwood Harbour I heard the distinct sound of swan wings. I manged to sit up in time for one quick shot.
