Sept. 12, 2015. There are several generations of rabbits living in our yard. This is good news in that it means the coyotes have backed off a bit. These bunnies are a little strange though. They have very little fear. They come right up to the pool area, look in the patio door and let us approach to within a metre. I hope they're not planning on taking over :-).
“Hallo, Rabbit,” he said, “is that you?”
"Let’s pretend it isn’t,” said Rabbit, “and see what happens.”

Daily Shoot - Use hard light that casts sharp distinct shadows in a photograph today ( http://dailyshoot.com/assignments/435 ) .
We had sunshine for about an hour this morning but it was too cold to go for a hike. You can see how crystalline the snow is. Thankfully I found some interesting shadows in my own yard. This is actually my swimming pool - buried under several meters of snow. I miss it!
Have a look at my 365 pic for today ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/dibytes/5385267166/ ) too. It was a toss-up between the two. I like them both for different reasons.

2011 - Day 244. Sept. 1, 2011
I was going to delete the shots where the bunny turned its head, but I decided to create a collage instead.
BTW, how the heck did it get to be September already???
She Won't See Me Here!
2010 - Day 165. June 14, 2010.
I almost didn't see this rabbit when I went out to fill the bird feeders this morning. Fortunately I had my camera at hand :-).

I expect to see rabbits in my yard ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/dibytes/4700827099/ ) , not sitting on the street. I'm not sure why it was there.

This little guy makes a regular appearance on the front lawn every morning. He knows we're out on the porch with our tea and coffee, but he doesn't seem to be too worried about us.
Daily Shoot - Illustrate the act or emotion of tension in a photograph today ( ) .
