All in a Day's Work #2
Cold, rain and high winds didn't stop the crew of the U.S. Brig Niagara tall ship, moored in Collingwood Harbour.
All in a Day's Work #1
365-190. July 9, 2009. Sunset Point, Collingwood.
I've been writing a few words about each photo here on my flickr site and then cross-posting to my photo blog ( http://www.dibytes.ca ) . I've decided to do as a few of you do and just write the caption here and then link to the post. I am very appreciative of the time many of you have spent leaving comments here. Is it an inconvenience to have to click once more to read my post? Will this new practice deter you from leaving comments?

Girl Talk at Dawn
365-195. July 14, 2009. These two friends were deep in conversation as they walked along the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida.
It Takes Practice
365-296. Oct. 23, 2009. It seems to take forever for the geese to get organized for their flight south. Every day the flocks are getting larger and the "V" more defined. This is part of a very noisy flock. Their loud honking gave me enough notice to get my camera out of my bag and grab a shot as they emerged out of the fog.
Building for the Future
365-305. Nov. 1, 2009. Our son and daughter-in-law are building a new home. We did a walk-through with them today; they have walls, doors and windows where there were none just days ago. I captured them looking out their patio door towards the future they are building together.
365-302. Oct. 29, 2009. I'm not sure what the day holds, but it started beautifully - quiet, still, misty.

After the Rain
The setting sun chased away the last of the rain clouds.
I really bumped up the contrast to give a graphic feel to the pelicans in flight.
