Hay Bales
Aug. 20, 2015. Clearview, Ontario. I love to find bales of hay that are wrapped in twine, and not encased in the mesh that currently seems to be the norm.

Full
July 11, 2015. We have a new daily visitor to our yard, a little chipmunk. He follows the same route to the bird feeder dozens of times every day, passing under and over the furniture on the patio, and running along the pool deck. It makes no difference to him if we are sitting there. He gives us a glance and then is on his way. Cheeks full the chipmunk gets ready to make his escape, taking his haul back to the nest in my neighbour's yard.

In this photo he gives a warning glance to the birds waiting their turn.

Washed Out
June 28, 2015. A day here and there curled up with a book and the sound of a gentle rain can be enjoyable. This weather, however, is starting to look like too much of a good thing.

Get Out On The Water
June 27, 2015. The rain held off long enough for families to take part in Get Out On The Water day in Collingwood. In spite of the less than ideal weather the event was well attended!

June 14, 2015. My peonies are late bloomers, but I fear with all the rain we've had this week they'll be washed out before they even have a chance to bloom.

Icescape #6
Beautifully delicate fingers of ice were being forced upwards by pressure as ice collided with ice on the way out of the harbour.
