Mar. 10, 2016. Warmer temperatures and rain are breaking up the ice on Collingwood Harbour. I lowered the blacks to make the water 'disappear', giving an abstract feel to the photo.
Mar. 7, 2016. I spotted this reflection on the ice in the harbour late yesterday afternoon. By the time I got myself into a position where I could get the composition I wanted without falling in, the sun was starting to set. It was warm enough for me to park myself and wait for the ice to be bathed in colour.
Mar. 5, 2016. Ball, brash, breccia, pancake, pack, slush, shuga...name a type of ice and we've probably seen it on the bay this winter. Ice has formed and reformed, accumulated and drifted, sculpted by the fluctuations in temperature, wind and waves. The changes from day to day are amazing!
