Now that the temperature is back above zero, I ventured along the waterfront to see the remnants of Mother Nature's wind and wave artistry. She's a talented lady!
Gales of November
This is the most sheltered part of Collingwood's inner harbour, the remains of the old dry dock. The wind was brutally punishing yesterday and today. As the wave spray hit me it froze on my face and my camera!

Feeding Frenzy
Our bird feeder was a busy spot today in the first snowfall of the season.
Migration
Sandhill Cranes take flight at sunrise from a migration staging area between Stayner and Minesing, near the Minesing Wetlands. Over the past week I've seen hundreds of the birds in this area.
Chair Lift
Fall's first frost this morning makes one think of the winter to come. It won't be that long before this chair lift at Blue Mountain carries skiers up the beautiful escarpment.

Hiding in Plain Sight
As I sat on the waterfront, looking across the harbour, I almost missed the mallard duck right in front of me. It blended in beautifully with the background.
Moment
The light hit my sensor for 1/1000 of a second and then the moment was gone.
