2010 - Day 158. June 7, 2010. I went down to Millenium Park late this afternoon to check on the progress of my Mom's memorial garden and bench. (They've poured the concrete pad for the bench). I sat for a while and watched people stopping to enjoy these beautiful spaces. I visit my Dad's bench often. Soon I'll be able to enjoy Mom's as well.
2010 - Day 157. June 6, 2010. It rained most of the day, but when the sun peaked out late afternoon the sailboats started heading out of the harbour.
2010 Day -149. May 29, 2010. Daily Shoot - Look up today and make a photograph of the sky. Cloudy, clear, or somewhere in between? Tell the story of your sky today ( http://dailyshoot.com/assignments/195 ) . A very early morning walk in Harbourview Park, as the sun started its climb above the horizon, rewarded me with rare stillness - not a cloud in the sky, barely a ripple in the water. In the slight morning mist it was hard to tell where water ended and sky started. I know today's story is about the sky, but including its mirrored reflection in the water really emphasizes the calmness and creates a mood of solitude.
